But, as a film, Aakasha Mittayee excels in storytelling, cast performance, and the message. The direction, among other things, is pathetic and makes the film look inferior and unappealing. If repetitive score, amateur direction, and a sermon-like story that tries to educate you are things that you dislike, then this is definitely not a film you would appreciate. But that does not mean Aakasha Mittayee does not merit attention. It is one of the better films of 2017. TN.
